This trainer has been made for Need for Speed Shift 2.
It should support most of the early game versions, tested with v1.0.

First run the trainer.
Then run the game. (You can start the game with it's own icon or You can use the Start game button in the trainer.)
Hit number keys on the numerical keyboard to turn options on/off. Make sure that NumLock is active.
You can also use the checkboxes to enable/disable the options.

There are 2 options in this trainer:

1. Enable speed boost
2. Unlimited Money

NOTES:

Unlimited Money: Turn on the cheat, buy or sell an upgrade, you will have tons of money, turn off the cheat.

Speed boost: This cheat isn't about nitro, it is about boosting the RPM of the car. If you learn to use it
properly, you will achieve higher speed and higher acceleration than the nitro can offer.
1. Enable the cheat.
2. You can get a small boost with holding down the Left Shift key or a large boost with the Left CTRL key.

Some hints:

The small boost will give you almost the same amount of boost than nitro would give you in a fully upgraded car.
The large boost however will give you a way more powerful boost than the nitro, spinning your wheels to the max.

You need to shift gears too and that will not happen while you push the boost. So if you have boosted your
RPM in the "red", release the boost for a second until you switch into a higher gear, then you can push it again.

Don't use the boost when you are in 1st gear, it will just spin the wheels too fast and you will do
nothing just burning the rubber. Use the boost in 2nd or preferably in 3rd and higher gears.

You can use the large boost anytime, but for a start I recommend to use it in the highest gear.
It will spin your wheels to the max and you will accelerate very quickly.
If you have mastered it a bit, you can use it in any gear but make sure to switch to higher gear when it is needed.

Turn down the volume of the engine sound. It is very annoying when you overcharge the engine. Unless you like the
feeling of banshees screaming in your head, it will bother you too.

If you still prefer nitro, you can find tons of other trainers that will have that option.

A video to show how it works. 1st lap is with nitro with a fully upgraded car. 2nd and 3rd lap is with my cheat boost. It isn't hard to see which is faster, even though I was driving pretty slowly because my computer was choppy with playing + recording.
